If you think you can just workout really hard and still lose weight (if that is your goal) or increase your performance, you're just kidding yourself. Sure, for someone that has been sedentary, an exercise program will show some results for a while. However, those results won't last long and that person will soon hit a plateau if their nutrition habits aren't changed. My definition of insanity is when a person keeps repeating the same things expecting to get different results. The point here is if you aren't losing weight, your performance hasn't improved or you still have trouble recovering from workouts then you need to change your diet. I know it's never easy but the results will be well worth your effort.
You know the old saying, "You are what you eat."
Well.....If you eat like shit then....
You'll feel like shit...
You'll look like shit....
You'll preform like shit...
You'll recovery like shit...
And no one wants to be all shitty.
CrossFit DoneRight's two newest students, Joe and KC. They've been doing a great job learning all the new skills and making changes to their diets.
