Breakfast Anyone????

This week we'll be talking all about nutrition. After 6 weeks of holiday eating its time to get back to a Paleo/Zone style of eating for 2010. I will be giving nutrition and eating advice all week and getting people back to the basic. The first step in this is making sure we get a good healthy breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After a good night's sleep your body has been without any nutrients for 6-8 hours, it's vital you get some fuel in your system as soon as possible. It's also important you have a good source of energy to get your day started.

I challenge everyone to eat a Paleo/Zone style breakfast this week and to record it. The meal should consist of a lean protein, some fruit or veggies and a tiny bit of healthy fats. A good example would be some egg whites, cup of veggies, cup of berries and a spoonful of peanut butter. Absolutely no RPG(rice, pasta or grains) during breakfast. Record it all week and bring your results to class next week for me to review. I'd like to see everyone doing this.
