What’s Your Purpose?

    So interesting.

I train b/c I find it interesting, exciting, and such a wonderful way to focus on ME. No one's opinion matters when I'm working out, just mine. (ok, maybe yours but that's supportive). No one wants me to hit a certain goal, I want to hit that goal, I want to do better for myself, not because someone else told me to.

It might be 'easier' to hang out on the elliptical, but for me, there is no reward in having spent my time that way. Also, going to the gym, and 'working out', I would never see others succeed. It is so fabulous to see others get excited, work hard, and succeed.

The idea about pushing limits is interesting. In the real world, pushing, is not necessarily a good thing. I have been told often to "back off...", "stop pushing for...", "everything in its own time". At crossfit, it is encouraged, and you are rewarded (personally) by pushing.
