About CrossFit DoneRight
Crossfit DoneRight is a school of fitness which teaches the movements and philosophies of the elite strength and conditioning program known as Crossfit. We teach basic to advanced level classes in functional exercise, athletic conditioning, plyometrics, kettlebell training, Olympic weightlifting, medicine ball and dumbbell training, powerlifting, gymnastics, rowing, running and jumping rope.
CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of the ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. The stimulus provided is always varied and the results are dramatic. The atmosphere is one of support and camaraderie to anyone willing to put in the work.
CrossFit DoneRight’s Philosophy
Crossfit DoneRight's philosophy is based on the pursuit of Elite Fitness. Fitness is instrumental in reducing the immediate and cumulative effects of stress and anxiety. We’ve found that the fitter a person is, the more he/she is physically able to do the things that bring joy and fun to life – everything from feeling strong, confident and energetic through your normal work day, running around with your kids, being physically active and playing sports, to traveling to remote corners of the earth.
The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. By centering our training within these domains we provide the opportunity and atmosphere for every student to excel and surpass their fitness goals while reducing their potential for injury. Remember this, ANY IDIOT CAN MAKE YOU TIRED,
WE MAKE YOU BETTER!
The CrossFit DoneRight Difference
The first thing that separates us from typical gyms and trainers is that WE TRAIN MOVEMENTS, NOT MUSCLES. There are no machines, no mirrors and no “cardio” equipment. We don’t do bicep curls or leg extensions, we’ve replaced them with pull ups and squats.
Why?
Because compound or functional movements combined with high intensity or anaerobic cardio is radically more effective at eliciting nearly any desired fitness result. Astonishingly, this is not a matter of opinion, but solid indisputable scientific fact. At Crossfit DoneRight we require you to think, to use your brain as well as your muscles to learn, to challenge yourself, to try new things you never thought you could, to practice new skills that require you to be focused and present. We teach you how to move your body with proper mechanics, stability, balance, and agility.
What We Do at CrossFit DoneRight
If you are looking for a constant stream of challenges, and are bored with your current gym or routine, you need to train with us. You will not find this level of performance and achievement anywhere else! You will never challenge and reward your body more than with CrossFit workouts… it will change your life!
Many professional and elite athletes are participating in Crossfit. It is also being used by the Navy Seals, Firefighters and Police officers. The Crossfit methods have been tested on the elderly, sedentary, and overweight populations. These special populations have met the same success as stable athletes. If this program will work for Olympic athletes and overweight, sedentary home markers, then it will work for anyone.

CrossFit DoneRight 101
Everything we do at CrossFit DoneRight focuses on quality of instruction, safety, and effectiveness, therefore, graduation from the CFDR 101 Program is required for entry into the CrossFit Classes. The Program is a 12-step curriculum that emphasizes exposure to the basic movements of Crossfit, skill development, and nutrition. There is a workout at the end of each training session.
Included in the curriculum: squat, front squat, overhead squat, press, push press, push jerk, thruster, deadlift, kettlebell swing, rowing, pull-ups progression, double-unders, and Olympic warm-up/skill transfer, clean, and snatch.
CrossFit Classes = Professional Coaching
We are unlike the regular gym, where you do your own thing. In our High Performance Gym, you will be coached each and every time you walk through the door.
We are not caddy's, clipboard holders, or rep counters. We are more than time keepers, score recorders, and motivators. We are responsible for ensuring that your workout is not easy nor impossible; that your form and range of motion is correct; that your speed/intensity is sufficient; that the exercise and load is adjusted to your fitness level; and we ensure safety and performance gains.
On top of all that, we will teach you things that you have NEVER thought possible at your current state. We will teach you basic gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting. You'll learn how to move your body faster; how to generate more power; and how to build strength. We'll also teach you about performance nutrition, no gimmicks or unnecessary supplements, but real food nutrition.
What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a fitness and conditioning system developed by Coach Greg Glassman through many years of watching, working with, and coaching all types of people – from those considered “normal and average”, to top athletes. Coach Glassman's idea – take what worked best from the sports and movements that create the most versatile athletes (gymnastics and weightlifting), and throw the rest out. Actually, the system really created itself - if a workout or an exercise proved functional and got great results (i.e. - challenged you to the bone), it stayed in the system. If not, well, you got the picture.
CrossFit is what remains - bar none, the most effective fitness and conditioning system in the world!
One of the things that make CrossFit unique is that it addresses the fact that the fitness needs of an "Average Joe" are identical to that of a top athlete – the only difference being intensity (speed & weight) and volume. In all cases, the best results come when training included
functional movement (that which replicates real life movement), at
high intensity and with constant variety. Any exercise program that meets these three criteria can be considered
“CrossFit,” from shoveling dirt, hauling rocks and cutting down trees to weightlifting, pull ups and sprinting.
CrossFit has been called
"The Sport of Fitness" because it re-introduces personal athletic achievement and performance to training. The mindset at the start of each workout is to be stronger, move faster, more efficiently, with better form than ever. This is why even after years of training CrossFit style, scores and times in workouts continue to drop and athletes continue to improve. It’s hard, fun, exciting, challenging, and will push you to be your absolute best!
CrossFit is by design broad, general and inclusive. Its specialty is in not specializing, and its workouts elicit a maximal neuro-endocrine response from your body by taxing your body to its core with variety, intensity, and multiple joint, full body, functional movements. As our friends at CrossFit North say of the workout of the day, “It should CRUSH YOU.”
