I'm not signed up for the 10K but am interested in a running program - depending on the days/times (I may have trouble getting there before 7).

It's been two years to the day that I started Crossfit. I'll never forget that first workout with Justin. While my story isn't as life changing, I knew from that first baseline workout that the Crossfit journey was for me. I remember going back to my office, closing my door and resting my head on the desk for two hours! I was smoked, but at the same time hungry to get better. My wife had just had our second child, and if there were ever a time to get my fitness back, this was it--my children, wife, and my own life depended on my health.

I'm so appreciative to hear your story Justin. Goodness knows I've talked enough about my own. Congrats on the successful business, but more importantly, congrats on the life turnaround (and hey, not bad on the romance front!).

Thanks for you, thanks for Crossfit!

Love, D

I'm glad everyone enjoyed, it was fun looking back on those early days. There's no way I could ever have imagined where this would take me personally and how big CrossFit would become.

I've also had several people ask me what my Fran PR is........ my best was around 4:30-4:40ish and that was back when we first moved into the old gym across the street. No way I could get that right now, but the point is that if you stick with it, you'll get better. Consistency is the key and there have been a ton of PRs already today to prove that.
